Description

MINT condition.
This is the poodle that was sold as "Muffies Pal" and pictured as such in the Nancy Ann catalogues between 1956 and 1960.
This little dog was made as part of Steiffs post war woolen miniature collection and is generally recognized as one of the smallest dogs Steiff ever made.  He is 4 inches tall standing, legs are jointed, and made from wool and felt.  The face and legs are like pompoms, while the ears and body are felt and the tail is a little black cord. The eyes are black beads.  He is wearing the original factory red cord collar.  This poodle was produced between 1955 and 1978.  He has the original yellow tag ribbon attached with the distinctive Steiff gold button. ( The Nancy Ann dog did NOT come with a leather collar)
