835 Silver Chicks with Top Hat & Bonnet Shakers
This is a beautiful set of small shakers in 835 sterling silver. These little figurines measure approximately 2 3/8" tall. We could not find a stamps or markings on these adorable little bird but have seen identical birds with markings for 835 silver. The top hat & bonnet hinge upward to reveal the holes for salt or pepper. The heads are supposed to come off in order to refill them, but they does not come off and we haven't tried to force them. These pieces are slightly gold in color, so they may have had a gold wash at some time but are now mostly silver. Otherwise, they is in very good condition as you can see from the pictures.
