Up for your consideration is a beautiful little outfit for Muffie. It is her #604-4 Outfit from the 1956 Favorite Fashions shown on page 112 in the book "The Muffie Puzzle - New Pieces" by Lillian Roth and Heather Maciak. You will receive the dress, panties, socks, shoes and flag. The complete outfit. Please look at all my photos and use the enlarger as the photos are part of my description. If you have any questions, please ask them before you bid.
This red cotton dress has a small lavender and blue rose print. It is trimmed in white cotton with royal blue cotton lace around the sleeves. This same trim is on the top of the royal blue bodice insert. Muffie's signature half slip is sewn on the inside and it has a faded tag sewn into the top seam of the slip. It closes in the back with a big red painted donut snap. This dress is in very nice condition with a secure snap. The colors are bright and clean and the fabric looks great. No holes, tears or stains.
The vintage white panties have lace trim and are in nice condition. The waist elastic still has plenty of good stretch in it.
The vintage white rayon socks are also in nice condition. No holes or snags.
Now, there is really only one color of shoes that will go with this dress and, that is blue. These navy blue side-button Mary Jane shoes are original Muffie shoes with the flat soles. They are in good condition with knobs and straps intact.
What a cute little outfit for your Muffie. I have even included a little flag for Muffie to hold.
