1955 ~ MUFFIE DOLL~ #607 FAVORITE FASHIONS OUTFIT with HAT ~ NANCY ANN

Description

Up for your consideration is Muffie's #607-3 Outfit from the Favorite Fashions of 1955. This outfit is shown on page 85 in the book "The Muffle Puzzle - New Pieces" by Lillian Roth and Heather Maciak. You will receive the dress, panties, socks, shoes and hat. A complete outfit. Please look at all the photos and use the enlarger as the photos are part of my description. If you have any questions, please ask them before you bid.
The brown polished-cotton dress has white pin drops with dotted swiss sleeves. White lace trims the sleeves and goes around the neck and it has yellow rick-rack on the edges of the bodice and around the skirt. Muffie's signature half slip is sewn on the inside and it closes with a small snap. Now, there are two things wrong with this dress. There is a pink pin drop on the front left sleeve and the snap has been replaced. I have not tried to clean the dress so, the pink might come out. The snap is a good mend and they just used a regular small round snap. And it works perfect. Other than that, this dress is nice. And I think that pink dot might come out.
The white panties are old store stock. Nancy Ann used these same panties on these later outfits so, it is appropriate for the dress. They are new and have never been on a doll before.
The vintage yellow rayon socks are original Muffie socks. They are a little stretched out but, they have no holes or snags. And they are clean!
The brown side-button Mary Jane shoes are original Muffie shoes that have the concaved soles. They are in good condition with knobs and straps intact.
You will also receive a vintage brown horse hair hat. Although it is not the correct hat for this outfit, it matches the dress nicely. And I think it is an original Muffie hat. It has a vintage bouquet of flowers stapled to the right side. This hat is in very good condition. It retains a beautiful shape and the flowers are very nice. The chin strap is stretched
