1953 ~ MUFFIE DOLL~ #601 DRESS-UP STYLES OUTFIT ~ FABULOUS!!!! ~ NANCY ANN

Up for your consideration is one fabulous Muffie Outfit. It is her #601-1 Margie Adorable Outfit from the Dress-Up Styles of 1953. This outfit is shown on page 32 in the book "The Muffle Puzzle - New Pieces" by Lillian Roth and Heather Maciak. You will receive the dress, panties, socks, shoes, purse and hat. The complete outfit. Please look at all the photos and use the enlarger as the photos are part of my description. If you have any questions, please ask them before you bid.
The pink percale cotton dress has wide cotton braid trim that has a geometric design of white, light blue and dark pink. This special trim is used on the bodice and around the skirt and is one of the harder variations of trim to find that Nancy Ann used on this dress. Muffie's signature half slip is sewn on the inside and it closes with a small round brass snap. This dress is in absolutely, wonderful condition. No holes, tears or stains and the snap is secure. It is a wonderful little dress.
Because this dress is so nice, I paired it up with my nicest accessories.
The pink panties are original Muffie panties with the up-side down heart lace trim. They are in very good condition with no holes, tears or stains. The waist elastic is still nice.
The white rayon socks are brand new "old store stock". I bought these on eBay because I always need white socks and they were not cheap. I only have one more pair left and I am using them for my very best outfits. This is one of my very best outfits.
The blue side-button Mary Jane shoes match the dress nicely. I used blue to bring out the blue in the dress. They have tiny heels and are in good condition with knobs and straps intact.
The blue felt bonnet is a brand new replacement bonnet. It was made by a professional seamstress and is made just like Muffie's bonnets were made.
I have also included a blue Muffie purse. It is in excellent condition.
If you have ever wanted this dress, I would not pass this auction up. I can't imagine you would ever find one in better condition. This is about as good as it gets.
Shipping is .00 by First Class Mail and includes tracking. I will carefully pack this outfit in a small box so it arrives safe and sound to you.
